I’m excited to see that Autism Speaks has launched a new Autism and Technology page. At the Barber National Institute, we have seen the impact that the effective use of technology can have for our children and adults with autism. Because technology is always changing, it’s difficult to stay up-to-date with the advances. The webpage has information on apps and webinars, as well as technology resources. You are also able to send in your questions regarding the use of technology with your child or adult.

Technology is a motivator, learning tool, social outlet, leisure activity and communication device for all of us, but especially for children and adults on the spectrum.  By dedicating a page to technology and research, Autism Speaks again presents itself as a leader in the field autism.
